A TINA Turner tribute night has raised £1,000 for the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind.
White Horse Country Park hosted the evening on Saturday 5th April with Tina Turner’s classic hits being performed such as ‘Simply the Best’, ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’, ‘We Don’t Need Another Hero’ as well as many more.
Organiser Tina May said, “I would like to thank everybody who attended and supported the event. The evening was held to raise money for the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind that is so close to my heart as I myself have benefited from this charity for many years now.
“Special thanks and appreciation to Shaun May for the use of the White Horse Country Park, and also many thanks to Hilary Reed for organising the raffle and Warren Smith resident DJ. A great evening was had by all. Thanks again from Tina and Cleve my guide dog.”
