THE total raised for the Guide Dogs for the Blind by Westbury Rotary Club and Inner Wheel Westbury has reached £850.
The money was raised from a Rotary and Inner Wheel summer event and handed over to Hilary Reed, representing Guide Dogs for the Blind, last month.
Susan Ezra from Westbury Rotary Club and Linda Eaglesham from Inner Wheel presented the cheques.
Susan Ezra said, “The money was raised by both clubs on a fun day, which was held on 20th July, with a theme of pirates and a chance to play blind skittles. The event was held with kind permission of the Horse and Groom in Westbury and it was a great success.”
