I love Christmas just like a little child.
I love all the fun, the tree and the decorations, gifts, feasting on special foods especially chocolates. It truly is a special time of fun and feasting, with family and friends, but it’s easy to forget the real meaning of why we celebrate Christmas.
Christmas is a celebration of the awesome Love Gift, of God. This great love that we read about in, John 3v16-17 “For God so loved, the world (and that’s you and me by the way), that he gave his one and only son, that whoever ( you and me) believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world, to condemn the world, but to save the world through him”.
No gift that you have or will ever receive this Christmas or any other time in your life, is as amazing than the gift of Jesus Christ. He knows what it is to be a child, a teenager, an adult. He knows all about you, your life, your fears and pains, and He came to bless you. His love is as no other.
Why not stop for a moment this Christmas and consider the true meaning of Christmas and ask God for his special gift, His Son Jesus Christ. You’ll never be the same again. May I wish you all a very happy Christmas and a very Blessed New Year.
