REGISTRATION is now open for Bratton Hilly Run 2015 and is accepting runners over 16 to take on the challenging route.
This year’s race, on Saturday 9th May, will be the 19th anniversary of the event which the late Roger Broberg began as the Happy Valley Hilly Run. The Bratton Jubilee Hall committee now run the event in memory of Roger.
The route is 11km through lanes near Bratton and Edington, and boasts miles of steep hills with rewarding views at the top.
The event last year saw almost 100 runners tackle the course, and was won by Avon Valley Runner Peter Veleski in 45 minutes 52 seconds.
