A WESTBURY woman has continued her charitable donations to the charity Crosspoint, donating a large amount of toiletries for those in need.
Michelle Bateman is regularly praised for her continuous charity work helping the homeless, rescued dogs and helpless children abroad.
Michelle said, “I donated a large amount of toiletries for the needy including children’s pamper wipes, shampoo, bubble bath, baby dove and baby lotion. I sold personal items on Facebook to buy all of these luxuries. I will do the same before Christmas, sell more of my things on Facebook, to buy new dolls, new cuddly toys, sweets and chocolates. I care about the needy.”
In a letter to Michelle, Hilary Fairfield treasurer at Crosspoint wrote, “Martin Brown tells me that once again you have been generous enough to donate a large amount of toiletries to Crosspoint.
“Many of us take having basic toiletries for granted, but for some of our clients who are living with very few resources, these are luxuries and unaffordable.
“Thank you; we really appreciate your generosity and continuing support.”
