LOCAL couple, Beverley and Dale Vincent recently joined forces with Club 24 Fitness in Westbury to complete the epic endurance event of Tough Mudder 2018.
The duo, from Iles and Vincent Funeral Services in Warminster, completed many difficult obstacles from scaling 9’6 vertical walls, barbed wire low crawling through mud and rotating barriers.
Bev said, “ It was an extraordinary experience – fantastic teamwork and lots of fun. We were definitely the muddiest team in the competition!’’
Business partner Anna Iles said, ‘’It was a great challenge for all involved both mentally and physically, such amazing team work for a very special cause’’
Their Tough Mudder challenge raised money for the Teddies for Loving Care charity, which raises funds to supply accident and emergency units with teddy bears and cuddly toys for children in severe distress. The cuddly toys help to alleviate stress for children and sometimes assists the staff in their work.
