A folk band blending traditional music with jazz and improvisation will perform in Westbury this month as part of their UK tour.
Pagoda Project will play at Chantry Court, Chantry Lane, on Thursday 26th November, bringing together fiddle-singer Hannah Cumming, accordionist Paul Hutchinson and clarinettist and bass clarinettist Karen Wimhurst.
The trio draws on the folk traditions of the UK, mixing traditional songs and sixteenth-century Playford tunes with jazz influences.
Band promoter Jill Lerner said, “This is an evening of bold, brave music, improvisation, beautiful vocals and plenty of humour along the way.”
The concert starts at 7pm, with general admission tickets costing £10.
VIP tickets cost £20 and include the chance to meet the band, have a photo taken with them, enjoy a drink and sit in the front row. VIP guests are asked to arrive at 6.15pm.
Event organiser Radek Evans, who is also a town councillor, said, “Come to an evening of folk music from the renowned Pagoda Project. Not to be missed!”
Tickets are available online at wegottickets.com by searching for Pagoda Project.
