Westbury town centre’s bus shelters have recently been refurbished and have received positive feedback from residents.
The improvements form part of Westbury Town Council’s wider initiative to enhance the town’s public spaces.
The work, which includes repainting, repairs, and general upgrades to street furniture, aims to create a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environment for everyone.
So far, residents have responded positively to the refreshed appearance and improved condition of the bus shelters.
“This is just one part of our commitment to enhancing everyday public spaces,” said Deborah Urch, Town Clerk.
“We’re pleased to see the community respond so positively.”
The town council’s Management of Services Committee will now consider whether a refurbishment programme can be expanded to include bus shelters in other areas of the town, continuing the improvements beyond the town centre.
