WESTBURY Market has gone from strength to strength, with traders from across the south of England now looking for a spot in the High Street every Wednesday from 8am to 2pm.
South African Biltong and Fresh Fish are the latest additions to the growing market, which is run by Westbury Town Council.
Organisers say, “The Demaine Artisan bakery is one of the most popular stalls and is fast becoming a favourite place for local workers to grab a bite for lunch. Those looking for a hotter snack are flocking to the Wiltshire Chilli Stall for their ‘hot crisps’! The fruit and veg man is another mainstay and has everything from locally grown vegetables to sweet nectarines and plums.
“Away from the food, two of the stalls offer customisable products. 52nd Street has a huge range of t-shirts, trinkets and Christmas gift ideas, while Train Smash Designs are available to hand-make any woodwork commissions you may have. Colin’s range of handmade pens are the perfect Christmas or birthday gift and have proven extremely popular.
“The Flower Hive and Ted’s Plants have brought some much-needed colour to the high street in recent weeks. Anyone looking for house plants, handmade wreaths or beautiful flowers need look no further than Westbury Market.”
