HOMEGROWN, the UK’s leading UB40 tribute band, will be playing at Westbury White Horse Country Park this weekend.
Having had their praises sung by UB40’s own Duncan Campbell, Homegrown say their attention to detail and uncanny vocal sound-a-like forces them to the forefront of the tribute band circuit, as they emulate what others only attempt.
Homegrown are all seasoned professional musicians, and play sets of over 28 UB40 hits, as well as songs by Bob Marley and The Specials.
UB40 is a British reggae/pop band formed in 1978. They have sold over 70 million records, and have two number one hits with ‘Red Red Wine’ and ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’.
Homegrown will be playing at White Horse Country Park on Saturday 13th September. Organiser Hannah Bowden said, “Preparations are going really well and we hope it will be a sellout.
“This will be one of a number of tribute acts we put on throughout the year. We’re hoping it will be another successful evening.”
Tickets cost £19.95 per person, and include a two-course seated buffet meal. They can be ordered online at www.whitehorsecountry park.co. uk or on 01373 822323. To find out more about the band go to www.home grownub40tribute.com
