A VACANCY has arisen for the Ethandune division of Wiltshire Council, following the death of cllr Linda Conley last year.
To call an election, a request must be made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by two local government electors who are registered within the Wiltshire Council local authority area.
On receipt of two valid requests by the Returning Officer, an election will be held within 35 days to fill the vacancy.
Linda Conley had been a councillor since 2003 when she died in October last year. Councillors paid tribute to her “efficiency, enthusiasm, and humour.”
