A VINTAGE Britannia steam train will call at Westbury later this month as the Dartmouth Express makes a day trip across the southwest.
The train will make the day trip from Slough to Kingswear in Devon along the Dartmouth Steam Railway. Carriages will join a Britannia class Pacific steam locomotive – either No. 70000 Britannia or No. 70013 Oliver Cromwell – at Westbury Station at 9.20am on Saturday 24th October.
The trip will take in miles of Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon countryside, passing through Taunton, Exeter, Teignmouth, Paignton and Dartmouth, where passengers will the have the chance to spend the afternoon.
