Local volunteers have come together to help a local primary school renovate their internal courtyard.
Members of the Bratton Tidy Group, a volunteer group which meets regularly to work to enhance the village setting for everyone, provided their time and expertise to help renovate Bratton Primary School’s courtyard.
“Each member of the Bratton Tidy Group rolled up their sleeves and truly worked so hard throughout the day,” said Louise Bunce from the school. “It just goes to show that helpful hands can truly make a difference.”
“The volunteers all worked so very hard clearing soil, moving sleepers and even cutting down an old tree before tidying the space once the work had been completed! We are so very grateful to the volunteers who kindly came along to support the school with this exciting project.
“The courtyard space will be evolving over the coming months to make it a safe and user-friendly space for children of all ages, and we are excited to see this amazing safe and sunny space used again to enrich the children’s learning and enjoyment.”
