LAST month’s White Horse Festival was deemed a huge success by organisers.
The festival took part at Westbury’s White Horse Country Park on Sunday 24th August. Organisers said 650 attended the all-day family event, which had children’s games, a play area, barbecue, bar, and a number of local bands in the evening.
Hannah Bowden said, “The event was hugely successful! We had beautiful weather and some fantastic local bands.
“The children’s entertainment was great; we had activities from DNA sports parties, magic and balloons from Dave Hickory, and golf with Westbury Golf Club’s Dave Stockley.
“To finish, I arranged a chocolate and sweet hunt in the play area, and we had a show from Infinity Dance.
“The princesses turned up from Disney’s Frozen, too! It was all very exciting and lots of fun was had by all.”
The country park plan to hold the event again next summer.
