A NEW yoga class will be held at Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall on Wednesday evenings, and whether you have tried yoga before or are a complete beginner, everyone is welcome.
The weekly yoga class will be run by local woman Elspeth Humm who trained in Goa, learning the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga style.
Elspeth said, “’The first time I went to a yoga class was in my first year at university. I walked away from that class feeling like I was walking on air. I felt a connection that I had never felt before. It is something I still can’t describe and that is why yoga has to be experienced and I encourage you to do just that.
“Whether you are a beginner or intermediate, yoga has something to offer everyone. I am truly grateful that I can share my yoga practice with you. I want each and every one of you to feel the way I did when I attended my first yoga class.
“’Strengthening and toning but relaxing and calming…sounds too good to be true? I thought so until I discovered yoga. Come and experience it for yourself.”
People wishing to take part should arrive at 6pm for a 6.15pm start. Sessions will run until 7.30pm. £10 for a drop-in class and £8 when booking block classes and paying in advance. Please bring your own yoga mat as mats are limited. Wear comfortable loose clothing and bring a jumper.
