THE deadline for applications to the Westbury Area Board grants is Friday 17th May and local organisations and groups are being asked to get their applications in now.
Wiltshire Council devolves significant funding to the Area Boards in order for them to invest in local community projects and initiatives that meet local priorities. Grant applications must demonstrate how they will improve the local communities by addressing priorities and help to deliver to the council’s business plan.
Wiltshire Council says, “If you are thinking of making a new application for grant funding from Westbury Area Board, you’ve not got long to submit it! The deadline for new applications is 5pm on Friday, 17th May. These applications will be decided by the area board councillors at their next meeting.”
