THE Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes have presented a £500 donation to Alzheimer’s Support.
The Pride of Ethendune Lodge of Westbury gave a cheque to the deputy CEO, Emer Bolt and staff of the Park House. Trowbridge headquarters of Alzheimer’s Support Wiltshire.
The lodge says, “We are very keen to provide our modest support as the work done by AS is multi-faceted; they provide training, support and relief to carers and enjoyable stimulation to sufferers. They are in the process of building another centre in Warminster to reduce travel for users in the local area. The work is well on the way and making excellent progress.
“Alzheimer’s and dementia disorders are indiscriminate, the pressures of modern life can increase your chance of being affected. We are under no illusions that we could be in need of AS’s help at any time and we are sure it would be given.
