A Westbury engineering company is celebrating 50 years in the town after growing from a specialist supplier into a global provider of engineering solutions.
ALH Systems Limited has marked its 50th anniversary, having been based in Westbury since it was founded in 1976. Over the past five decades, the business has expanded from supporting gas network maintenance to providing polymer and mechanical engineering solutions worldwide.
“Reaching 50 years in Westbury is something we are incredibly proud of,” said managing director David Pye. “The town has been at the heart of our business since day one, and our success is closely linked to the people and community here.”
Today, the company supports industries including gas distribution, telecommunications, construction, electronics and rail. Its products are supplied globally through a network of distributors and agents, while its operational base remains in the town.
“While our products are now used all over the world, Westbury remains our home,” said David. “We are committed to continuing our investment in the site and supporting local employment as we look to the future.”
