ABBIE Wheeler and her eldest son Jean-Luc from Westbury are having their heads shaved to raise money for Epilepsy Action as Abbie’s youngest son Sam, aged 6, has recently been diagnosed with the condition.
The fundraiser is taking place at the Railway Inn, Westbury on 3rd May at 5.00pm. Abbie said, “We would like to raise money for Epilepsy Action to help other families cope who find themselves in a similar situation.
“The charity covers everything you need to know if you have a family member diagnosed with epilepsy. Thanks to Epilepsy Action Sam’s 7-year -old sister now knows how to put Sam into the recovery position. There is always someone friendly to talk to from the charity and help.
“We want to raise as much money as possible so if you want to have a laugh and help a good cause, join us at the Railway Inn and we will have some buckets out for people to donate.”
