Westbury Festival had its best year ever in 2018.
Chair of Westbury Festival, Ian Cunningham said, “We were very pleased with the wide variety of events both during the main festival and the couple of extras that we put on during the year. We would like to thank all those involved in performing, providing venues, and general support.
“We would also like to thank all our generous sponsors, without whom there would have been no festival.
“Of course, we would also like to thank all the people from Westbury (and from surprising distances away) who came to the events – without you there would have been no point.
“As chair, I would like to give special thanks to the small number of volunteers who made up the committee – incredibly there were only nine doing all that work.
“As usual, we are looking for committee members. I won’t lie and say it’s particularly easy, there’s quite a lot of work and there’s no pay. We are a not- for-profit organisation. But there is some fun and the event is something of which Westbury can be proud and that does a great deal to bring people together in the town.
“As you might expect, we’re also looking for sponsorship for the 2019 festival, so if you’d like to be involved, from supporting a single event, up to the whole festival, please get in contact with us sponsorship@westburyfestival.org.uk
