Westbury has embarked on the Neighbourhood Planning Process.
One of the themes is titled Economy, Employment, Education and the Arts. A group has been set up to investigate and report on this theme.
In preparing that report the group would like to know if there is anyone in the community who are receiving an income whether that is in the arts, crafts, engineering or enterprise by operating as a sole trader.
“Our question is simply this,” says the group, “is Westbury a cultural and enterprise desert or are there people out there doing all manner of things to make or supplement their living? If so, what?”
The working group would like to hear from anyone in the community who works alone in their home, in their garage or in a garden shed and uses their talent and experience as described above.
Please respond to the group to the Neighbourhood Plan Administrator, Justine Cook, the Laverton, Bratton Road, Westbury, BA13 3EN or you can email Justine at Neighbourhoodplan@westburytowncouncil.gov.uk
A response by the end of October 2019 latest will be appreciated.
“The Employment, Economy, Education and Arts Working Group provides an assurance that it will not make use of or pass your information to a third party or make any other use of your personal information other than for the purposes described’” says the group. “Our intention is to provide a quantitative rather than textual analysis.”
