Westbury Lions recently paid a special visit to the St John Ambulance cadet group in Westbury to donate two resuscitation manikins – an essential addition to the cadets’ training resources that will help equip them with vital life-saving skills.
The young cadets were delighted to receive the much-needed equipment, which will enhance their practical training in CPR and emergency response.
“We received a warm and enthusiastic welcome and were treated to refreshments and plenty of jelly beans!” said Lion Nigel Coward.
“It was a fantastic evening of camaraderie, highlighting the strong relationship between the Westbury Lions and local youth organisations.
“Youth leader Danielle Smith, who had made the request for the training equipment, was present to thank us. She also shared her plans to send a couple of Cadet representatives to the upcoming Westbury Lions Senior Citizens Party later in the year.:
