Westbury Rugby Club held their Annual Dinner and Presentation evening on Saturday 9th May in the clubhouse at Knott Field.
Although the season had been a disappointing one with the 1st XV being relegated to division two of the Dorset and Wilts league, the Chairman, Gareth Vaughan, was full of praise for the efforts of all of the players and was optimistic that next season the club would regroup and push for promotion back to Division one. A feeling echoed by the whole club.
The club had recruited well during the season, gaining a good number of young players who with time and experience will be pushing for 1st XV places. The 2ndXV have had a more successful season finishing in the first half of their league.
