FOOTBALL will finally return to Meadow Lane on Saturday 17th July with Trowbridge Town as the visitors – after seven long months and much hard work off the pitch thanks to the clean-up gang.
There will be further home friendlies including a match between the current First Team and a Westbury United legends squad on Saturday 24th July.
As with the curtailed 2020-2021 season, the club will be jointly managed by Ricky Hulbert and Lewis Porter. This coming season marks a new beginning for the club who will play in the Hellenic League for the first time following the FA’s shake up of non-league football. Details of league fixtures and cup competitions will be available soon.
“Please note that Westbury United will be adhering to all government Covid-19 advice so please respect this as well as cheering on the team,” said a spokesperson for the club.
