Westbury United FC has unveiled its preseason schedule as the club gears up for the new campaign – and it’s a tough set of fixtures designed to test their readiness for the season ahead.
The preseason action kicks off on Saturday, 5th July, with a trip to Fairford Town, a Hellenic Premier Division side who are expected to provide a stern first challenge.
On Tuesday 8th July, United travel to Bitton AFC of the Western League First Division, followed by a trip to Paulton Rovers on Saturday 12th July, who compete in the Western League Premier Division.
The White Horse Men then visit Calne Town on Tuesday 15th July before the first home fixture on Thursday 17th July, when Weymouth visit Meadow Lane. The Southern League Premier Division South outfit, which was relegated from the National League South last season, will give a chance for home fans to see their team against higher opposition.
A few days later, Western League Premier side Bridgwater United travel to Westbury on Saturday 19th July before the White Horse Men make the short trip to Corsham Town on Tuesday 22nd July.
The preseason concludes on Saturday 26th July against Cirencester Town of the Hellenic League Premier Division.
