The Inflatable Fun Dayz returned to Grassacres Park, Westbury, on the Easter weekend, with bouncy fun for children organised by Westbury Town Council.
It was the second in a series of fun dayz that will run on the third weekend of each month until September. Town council events coordinator, Verity Bartlett said, “We were pleased with how the first event went in March, and lots of the children came back again for the Easter weekend, which was great to see”
With six inflatables including an obstacle course, slide and a dome, as well as soft play shapes and refreshments, the Inflatable Fun Dayz provide a safe family environment for children to play in and for parents to relax. There is also a special closed session for children with special educational needs (SEN) available at each Saturday event.
The town council also hosted its first Artisan Market on Soisy-sur-Gardens next to the Library, with stalls including handmade beauty products, woodcraft, jewellery and candles. Verity said, “This is something a little different for Westbury and has gone down well, so hopefully we’ll be repeating the market again soon.”
The next Inflatable Fun Dayz in Grassacres Park will be on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May starting at 11am. For children with SEN please contact the Westbury Town Council events coordinator on 01373 822232.
