Described as the ‘best little tournament in Wiltshire’, teams from across Westbury will come together this summer for the annual Football Tournament and Festival of Football. Organised by Westbury Youth, the event will run over Friday 20th June, Saturday 21st June and Sunday 22nd June.
Cameron Dawes, tournament director, said, “Don’t miss your chance to be part of two days of football action, sportsmanship, and unforgettable memories. Once again, Westbury Youth will be running a plate competition alongside the main tournament, so some teams knocked out in the first round will get a second chance to win a team trophy. All players in the non-competitive festival will also receive a medal as a memento.”
The Tournament and Festival of Football will be held at Redland Lane with parking available at Penleigh Park. More details are available at www.westbury.torneopal.com. The tournament website is also where all information about fixtures and timings, pitch numbers, rules, and much more can be found.
Live results will appear as the games finish, meaning fans can track teams’ progress throughout the tournament on a phone without even leaving the pitchside.
