SUMMER events aren’t over yet as the White Horse Country Park Festival takes place later this month.
Look no further for a bank holiday weekend spectacular. On Sunday 30th August, White Horse Country Park will be host to jam packed schedule of music and entertainment.
Organiser Hannah Bowden from the country park, said, “We are so excited for the festival this year. The pre-ticket sales and the buzz about it on Facebook and around the town suggests it’s going to be busy.
“Last year we sold around 500 tickets, so it would be great to exceed that number. We think it will be the busiest and biggest it’s ever been and we can’t wait.
“There is so much going on during the day. We’ve got various stalls, local cider makers, a barbecue and a hog roast. We’ve got lots of entertainment for the kids, arts and crafts, bouncy castle, face painting, games and Mike Johnson will be running fun fitness sessions.
“We’ve also got eight local bands playing throughout the day. You can see a full list of who is playing and when, on our website, www.whitehorse countrypark.co.uk.
“It’s a great day out for all the family. It’s a local festival that everyone can enjoy.”
The festival starts at 12.30pm, tickets are £12.50 and children under 14 go free. Free camping over the weekend is also available.
