WILTSHIRE Council’s Leader is to make an appearance at the upcoming Westbury Area Board.
Jane Scott who has come under a lot of recent scrutiny over her pay increase will attend the meeting at Leigh Park Community Centre on Thursday 6th February.
She will be talking about how the county is commemorating the World War 1 centenary and ways in which local people are carrying on the legacy and community activities that followed the Jubilee and Olympics events.
People coming to the meeting will also get the chance to hear a full report on what local people think about a campus in the town. The consultation ended last year and showed that the vast majority of people want a campus in the town centre using the library and the swimming pool as well as keeping the Leighton Sports Centre. The February meeting will give detailed analysis of the comments and concerns voiced during the consultation and also explain the next steps.
Everyone is very welcome to attend the meeting which starts at 7pm.
