Women-only studio unveils low-impact fitness sessions

Spring is always a great time to try something new, and that’s exactly why Hebe-Fitness, Warminster’s female-only fitness studio, is launching a brand-new class this April.

Balance and Burn is designed specifically for women seeking a more mindful alternative to high-intensity workouts.

“It offers a fresh, holistic approach to exercise,” said Stacey St John Marchmont who is owner and head instructor at the studio which is conveniently located in The Cornmarket in the centre of Warminster town. “It focuses not just on physical strength, but also on stability, control and mental clarity, creating a well-rounded experience for both body and mind.

“Blending controlled precision, resilience-building exercises, core strengthening and mindful movement, the class delivers a dynamic yet accessible workout.

“At its heart are Pilates-based exercises that target the core – the foundation of all movement. Through controlled, low-impact techniques, participants can strengthen deep abdominal muscles, improve posture and develop long, lean muscle tone. The emphasis is firmly on precision rather than speed, helping to reduce the risk of injury while still achieving effective results.

“The “burn” element comes from sustained core work and balance challenges that gently push muscles to fatigue. Despite this, the class remains inclusive and adaptable, making it suitable for all fitness levels – from complete beginners to more experienced participants.”

Balance and Burn also incorporates Tai Chi-inspired movements, encouraging participants to slow down, focus and reconnect with their breath.

“These flowing sequences help improve coordination and leave attendees feeling centred, calm and ready to take on the day ahead,” added Stacey.

“What truly sets the class apart is its thoughtful design around women’s bodies and lifestyles. It takes into account common concerns such as joint sensitivity, pelvic stability and the need for functional strength that supports everyday life.

“Like all sessions at Hebe-Fitness, it is delivered in a supportive, non-competitive environment where wellbeing and enjoyment come first.

“In a fitness landscape often dominated by intensity and aesthetics, Balance and Burn offers something refreshingly different: a balanced approach that nurtures both strength and serenity. Participants can expect not only improved physical fitness, but also reduced stress, better posture and increased confidence.”

Classes are available to members or on a pay-as-you-go basis. For more information or to book, visit: Hebe-Fit.com.
