Internationally acclaimed vocalist/guitarist/songwriter, Sarah McQuaid, is coming to the Deverills as part of her UK tour, having recently completed her Netherlands and Germany tour in April.
A captivating performer of an original fusion of jazz and folk, Sarah entertains with cheeky banter and stories from the road, in addition to her stunning musicianship.
Born in Spain, raised in Chicago and now living in rural England, Sarah refuses to be pigeonholed, segueing easily from one of her emotive originals into a 1930s Cuban jazz number, a 16th Century lute piece or an unexpected contemporary cover.
The soulful singer has made five albums, – her latest the recently-released, critically-acclaimed solo album ‘Walking Into White’.
Sarah will be performing in the recently refurbished Orangery at The George Inn, Longbridge Deverill on Saturday 7th May at 7.30pm.
Tickets £10 / £5 ‘under 17s’. Call 01985 844385 | info@deverillsfestival.com
