THREE local children have been announced as winners of the Vivash Park art competition.
The Westbury Town Council competition asked children aged three to 11 in the local area to design a piece of art based on Vivash Park.
The town council said, “Our three winners visited The Laverton to collect their certificate and £25 gift voucher from the mayor, cllr Mike Sutton. Congratulations and well done to Paige Smith (age three to five category), Eloisa Kingdom (age six to eight category) and Charlotte Saunders (age seven – special recognition).”
Vivash Park is an urban park, off Slag Lane and Hawkeridge Road. The 11 acres of land has a fishing lake, pond, picnic area and exercise trail, with a vast biodiversity.
