WESTBURY entertained local rivals Potterne in the third pre-season match for the club, with the players hoping to build on the recent win against Bristol West Indians Phoenix Cricket Club.
Potterne won the toss, and they completely dominated as they compiled a massive 302 for three wickets with the top three batsman – Will Pembroke (50), Nick Davies (51) and Josh Kelly (50) – all retiring; all the batsman contributed. When Westbury batted, they were immediately under the cosh and eventually they were bowled out for 152 with Dylan Hulett 52 retired not out, leaving Potterne winners by 250 runs.
