A GROUP of young dancers from ALW School of Dance in Westbury danced their way to 1st place at the international Magical Festival competition at Disneyland Paris.
The group of eight, who are aged between three and ten years-old, performed an extract from Cinderella in the competition’s Musical Theatre category and won.
Dance teacher Amy Watts specially choreographed the routine, with singing tuition and arrangement by vocal coach Amy Thomas.
Amy Watts and Amy Thomas said, “The children performed their routine in front of the judges and a full arena.
“The children worked so hard and had an incredible weekend. They got to meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse and dance on stage with them.
“They will treasure the memories, friendships and the experience forever.”
