WESTBURY Morrisons are hosting their third annual Summer Market on Saturday 19th August in the store’s car park. This year is the first year supporting their new charity partner, CLIC Sargent.
Previous years have proved a huge success, with each event raising hundreds for the old charity partner, Sue Ryder.
Lisa Litterick, the community champion in store and the organiser behind the market says, “We have always been blown away by the support of the local community at all of our events, so we are keeping our fingers crossed that the charity partner change will only have a positive effect on the turn out.
“We have some amazing stalls, as well as a refreshment business joining us, and Morrisons’ colleagues will be running a tombola and pre-loved book sale. There will be activities for the children and it is supporting such a fantastic charity so everyone is invited!” The market will be open from 10am until 3pm, with no entry fee, just come along and have some fun.
Westbury Morrisons would also like to take this opportunity to make the public aware that the car park will be unusually busy on the day, so please take extra care whilst driving around the area.
