A POPULAR furniture retailer based in West Wiltshire is continuing to thrive, moving into new premises to help it cope with increasing demand.
Casa Bella Furniture was established by Suzanne and Rob Pearce in 2006. The couple started their business by importing furniture from Indonesia and selling it online to customers throughout the UK. A key part of the company’s ethos is to ensure that the furniture they buy and sell is manufactured responsibly, using ethically-sourced materials.
Following steady growth, Suzanne and Rob opened a retail unit in Trowbridge in 2016, expanding their product selection to include soft furnishings and accessories, to complement the range of furniture from across the globe.
Now employing a team of eight staff members across their shop and warehouse, Casa Bella has signed a 10 year lease with landlord HPH Commercial Property on a 5,935 sq ft unit on the Woodland Industrial Estate in Westbury, which will allow the company to stock an even greater range of products and will act as a distribution depot.
Suzanne said, “This year we have added four new furniture ranges to our catalogue which means we have doubled the amount of furniture that we will stock at any one time. This meant it was time to expand our warehouse space and the Woodland Industrial Estate was the perfect place to do this.
“Westbury has been the base of our business for the last nine years. As we have lived all our life in the Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge area, Westbury has proved to be a very good base to accompany our Wiltshire roots.”
