Retirement village residents praise major refurbishment

A Westbury retirement village that underwent a £500,000 refurbishment has received high satisfaction ratings from its residents. 

The 68-unit Chantry Court was acquired by Integrated Retirement Communities (IRC) specialist Untold Living in 2022. 

Last year, Untold invested £500,000 in refurbishing a number of areas of the village. 

In a recent survey, 76 per cent of residents said they were ‘extremely satisfied’ with life at Chantry Court, while a further 22 per cent said they were satisfied. 

A separate 78 per cent said they would actively recommend the village to family and friends. 

The complex has a range of amenities including a restaurant, library and hair salon, as well as an on-site care team, allowing residents to live independently with support available when needed. 

The retirement village’s in-house CQC-registered care team received an average score of 9.5 out of 10 from residents.
