A STAFF member at the Morrisons supermarket in Westbury raised £551.57 for Salisbury Hospital after she set herself the challenge to stay completely silent for a whole working week.
Belinda Miller didn’t utter a word while she worked the checkout at Morrisons from Monday 29th May to Saturday 3rd June to raise money for Salisbury District Hospitals Star’s Appeal which is the hospital’s official charity. The hospital is currently supporting a close friend of Belinda’s through cancer.
The money will also be matched by Morrisons Foundation who will donate a further £551.57 to the charity. To find out more about the Stars Appeal visit: www.starsappeal.org
