TWO members of the White Horse Short Mat Bowls Club have qualified to represent Wiltshire in three national competitions.
Karen and Lee Kirby will take part in the National Pairs and National Over 55 Pairs, and they will be joined with two members of another Wiltshire club in the National Mixed Fours Competitions.
The club says, “Our members have also been very successful this season in county run competitions, winning both the County Triples and County Fours and winning the Southern Division of the Wiltshire Summer League. We are currently top of the Southern Division Wiltshire Winter League too.
“The club plays at Codford Village Hall on Tuesday evenings and at Heywood and Hawkeridge Village Hall on Sunday evenings and new members are always welcome. No previous experience is needed as coaching can be provided.
