A WESTBURY father and his daughter will be undergoing different types of hair removal for charity.
Chloe Carter is to have her head shaved whilst her father will have his chest waxed in the charity event slated for July 26th. The money raised will go to Dorothy House Hospice Care.
Chloe said, “It is an idea that I have had for a few years now, and a few weeks ago dad said if I did my head, he’d wax his chest.”
“We chose Dorothy House because our family has a strong history of cancer and of late the Dorothy House nurses have been fabulous in caring for the family members affected and we were shocked at just how little funding they receive.”
She said the idea of having her head shaved was “quite nerve racking,” but her dad was more apprehensive.
The pair are aiming for a fundraising target of £1,000 and shall be based outside Tesco Extra in Trowbridge for the event.
