CHANGES are afoot at Bratton Primary School as the school library has just seen a full refurbishment.
The library has been fully gutted of both furniture and old books, redecorated in calming colours and new furniture has been added to create a cosy relaxing environment for all to enjoy whilst browsing or reading books.
The school says, “We have sourced thousands of pounds worth of wonderful new books to enhance the pleasure of reading for all children at the school. We have also just hosted a very successful book fair which has also raised over £600 which will also be spent on further books to engage our children – the children really will have endless reading opportunities going forward!
“The new school library will officially be formally opened in September with a whole school event, but we wanted to give everyone a little taster of the exciting volume of amazing new books the children will be able to enjoy, and that we hope will encourage a lifelong love of reading!”
