A SOCIAL group for single people over 40 called ‘A night for singles, not a singles night’ is looking for more members to join.
The club has been running for over a year and members come from as far as Devizes ranging from ages 45-83. They meet every other Tuesday at the Railway Inn with the next meeting on Tuesday 28th May from 7pm.
Organiser, Jacqui Pringle said, “I know there are way more singles locally! So if you’re over 40 come and join us and have an evening of giggles and chat! What’s the worst that can happen? I can meet new people outside first, or even for a cuppa before the club nights to introduce myself.
“I’ve had lovely feedback, how lonely members were until they took the plunge and came to a meeting. They say that spending time with other singles has increased their confidence in lots of ways.
“We also try and meet up every weekend at a live music event in pubs and clubs all around the area. We are also looking at days out and maybe even a short holiday in the future, who knows!”
For more information about the group or to arrange to be introduced to the group contact Jacqui on jacquipringle@hotmail.com.
