THE annual All Saints’ Church Christmas Tree Festival will be taking place this year between Thursday 28th November and Sunday 3rd December and local schools, groups and businesses are invited to take part in this very popular town event.
For a donation of £25 for businesses and £18 for charities, organisations and schools, it is not only a way to become involved in the Westbury Christmas spirit but a good way to advertise your business, educational or charity activities.
For your donation you will be loaned a tub and given a 4-5ft tree which you can decorate as you please. You also have the chance to win the prize for the best tree, chosen by the visitors. At the end of the festival you may keep the tree if you wish.
Christmas refreshments will be served throughout the festival and there will be a selection of musical entertainment on all days except Sunday.
Tree decoration: – will take place on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th November between 1-00pm and 6-00pm. Trees will be erected by the organisers and placed in your numbered position. Electricity will be available for those wishing to light their trees. The organisers cannot however provide replacement batteries should you wish to light your tree that way.
