AS part of Westbury Leigh Primary School’s festive celebrations, Years 1 and 2 put on an entertaining performance of ‘Stable Story’ as their Christmas performance.
Naomi Lawrence, on behalf of the school said, “This was a fantastic seven song musical depicting the birth of baby Jesus.
“Our Reception children put on the well-known performance of ‘Away in a Manger’ in front of proud parents, grandparents and all of our pupils, they were very brave and learnt all their songs perfectly.
“Our Years 3 and 4 students performed the annual Christingle service, but this time it was held at Dilton Marsh C of E Church. The children did a great job and the setting added a magical element to the service. We would like to thank everyone who came and supported this.
“Our eldest students in Years 5 and 6 performed a beautiful Carol Concert at All Saints Church, Westbury accompanied by readings from our students and a piece performed by our advanced recorder group.
“Thank you to all that came and watched and the support parents have given the children throughout the term.”
