WESTBURY & District Cricket Club is holding their annual charity day on Sunday 18th August raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Prostate Cancer UK.
The club says, “The day is all about raising money, so it will be great to see the whole of Westbury and surrounding communities to come together and support these amazing charities.
“There is a debut game for the newly-formed Westbury Ladies cricket team against Wootton Bassett Ladies where there will be lots of laughs, a great game and some cheesy music!
“This will be followed by an afternoon of a great game of cricket by the Chris Lack XI against Rockhampton XI. There will also be lots of family games for all ages, a barbecue, cakes and a raffle full of prizes around the ground to keep you all entertained!”
The ladies’ game will begin at 10am at Leighton Sports Centre followed by the men’s game at 2pm.
