IT was smiles all round for Ladies Day at White Horse Country Park last month. The ladies relaxed in the sunshine with a glass of Pimm’s before enjoying a buffet lunch and afternoon tea.
Hannah Bowden, who organised the day said, “It was a fabulous day and everyone made such an effort with their hats and really got into the spirit of things.
“Dawn Kent won Best Dressed and Vicky Wardle won Best Hat. The hat was made by a local milliner, Sarah Alsop from Tisbury.
“The turnout was fantastic with around 50 people attending. There was a mixture of regular and new ladies who came along.
“The food was fantastic and the whole day went really well. We will definitely do it again next year.”
