Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision last month.
The incident occurred at approximately 3.15pm on Friday 24 February.
A grey Peugeot 308, a black Volkswagen Golf and a black Mercedes were in collision at the A350 Yarnbrook roundabout.
The driver of the Peugeot, a man in his 70s from the Westbury area, was airlifted to Southmead Hospital with internal injuries. He is currently in a stable condition.
The driver of the Volkswagen Golf, a male from Trowbridge (age unknown), sustained minor injuries.
PC Dean Hall of the Roads Policing Unit said, “The road was partially closed for approximately two hours and 15 minutes while the scene was cleared and collision investigators carried out an investigation.
“We’d like to appeal to anyone with information in relation to this incident – did you witness the vehicles prior to the collision? Or did you see the collision? Any information you have could be crucial to our investigation.”
