A SCREENPRINTING workshop was offered to budding artists across Westbury Infants, Bitham Brook and Westbury Leigh schools.
Westbury Infants School reports, “Ten children across years 1 and 2 benefitted from an art workshop offered at Westbury Infants to promote the technique of screen printing. Students with an interest in art were encouraged to attend and all had a wonderful experience.
“Westbury Infants used their wonderful artist-in-residence to lead the session and give the children this wonderful experience. All the children got to design their own image which they then screen printed onto card and then fabric. Their fabric prints could then be turned into a wall hanging or bag at a later date.”
