WESTBURY Conservative Club is holding a special comedy showcase this month.
The club will be alive with the sound of laughter on Saturday 26th November when comedians Johnny Tait, Roy Charles, and Stewart Masters take to the stage.
Stewart Masters is a West Country stand-up veteran with 30 years of experience, 20 of those as a popular solo act. Expect a mixture of gags, audience mickey-taking and observations on life.
Roy Charles will be bringing his own brand of magical comedy to the evening. A performer since he was a child, Roy spent years as a Butlins Redcoat entertainer, and has now honed his own original material with a few crazy magic props and one-liners.
The third and final act will be Johnny Tait, ‘The Cockney Comedian’. Johnny cut his teeth on market stalls in London before becoming a travelling cabaret act. He prides himself on a clean packed with daft stuff, stories and poems, yarns about growing up and growing old, and clever stuff with great double meanings.
Tickets cost £5 for club members of £7 for non-members. Contact the club on 01373 822557 for more information or to book.
