A thoroughly enjoyable evening – with much fun, laughter and delicious refreshments – was had by 34 people who attended ‘The Big Quiz Night’ 2022 on Sat 19 November.
“We have so far raised £180 for Tearfund of a target of £200 for which we say a very big thank you to everyone,” said Ivor Shears for West End Baptist Church where the event was held.”
Hannah Dobbins Big Quiz Night Manager from Tearfund says, “You did it! An amazing 12,913 people and churches across the UK joined in with the biggest (and, arguably, best) quiz night of the year.
“So far, our Big Quizzers have collectively raised £69,000 for Tearfund with donations still coming in. Thanks to all of you, many more people around the world will be equipped to lift themselves out of poverty for good. Now, that’s worth celebrating!”
